The Collection of Personal Information

The Supply Chain Consulting Group Limited (SCCG) collects personal information, including name, email address and telephone number. This personal information is collected via our contact form and is treated as confidential information.

The contact form collects name and contact details. When submitting a contact form to SCCG, there is the right to explicitly object to personal data being processed for direct marketing; to explicitly opt-out of personal data being used for our marketing purposes, please select ‘No’ on the contact form.

Collecting Domain Information

SCCG also collects domain information (e.g. IP address and referring URLs) as part of its analysis of the use of this site. This data enables SCCG to become more familiar with how people visit the site, how often they visit and what parts of the site they visit most frequently; this information is collected automatically. The information SCCG collect from web browsers, cookies and other web or mobile technologies does not identify an individual.

Disclosure to Third Parties

SCCG do not pass on or sell email addresses to third parties and never intends to. No personal information submitted to SCCG will be shared with, or sold to, any other company or individual for marketing purposes without prior and full consensual authorisation.

As SCCG’s business develops, it is possible that its corporate structure or organisation will expand or change. In the event of any such occurrence of any business developments, client information is and should be expected to be, one of the transferred business assets.

Use of Cookies

Some pages on this site use ‘cookies’, which are small files that websites can send to browsers for identification purposes. Web browsers may allow the notification of the receipt of a cookie, giving the option to accept or not.

These cookie files may be used for site registration and customisation the next time the site is visited and to make navigation of SCCG’s website a more personalised and user-friendly experience. Use of Google Analytics

SCCG’s website and social media sites, use Google Analytics (GA), a premium web-analysis service provided by Google. SCCG use GA to better understand who uses the site, paired with how and when; which in turn allows the identification of successful user experiences of the website and social sites; whilst also identifying what needs to be improved and how best to achieve these improvements.

SCCG only collect IP addresses through GA and this information alone cannot be used to personally identify individuals; to further protect privacy, SCCG never combine information collected from GA with any personal submitted information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by GA about visits to the site or the system is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.


Whilst SCCG adhere to commercially acceptable procedures to secure and protect personal submitted data, which is collected, processed and stored on SCCG’s website and the database; no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Due to this, SCCG cannot ensure the security of any information transmitted to the SCCG website. It is agreed that immediate notification of any breach of the system’s security, this Privacy Policy, or the Terms of Use when it becomes apparent.

Social Media and Blogging Platforms

SCCG stipulate that any information, communications, or material of any type or nature that visitors submit to SCCG’s social media platform pages, via the medium of posting, messaging, uploading, downloading, or otherwise collectively termed ‘submissions are conducted at the visitors’ own risk and without any expectation of privacy.

SCCG cannot control the actions of other users on any of its social media/blogging platforms and are therefore not responsible for any external submissions posted to SCCG’s publicly accessible and interactive social media platforms.

SCCG understand that online activity conducted whilst visiting any of the pages contained on social media/ blogging platforms constitutes confirmation that visitors have reviewed the applicable Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of such website or social media platform and as such agree with and abide by the terms presented in the policy provided.

Updates to SCCG’s Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy describes SCCG’s current data protection policies and practices, which have been updated in accordance to comply with the revised 2018 General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Data Protection Agreements (DPA).

SCCG expressly reserve the right to update and amend this policy as required, to reflect changes in policies and practices, without prior notice, of which all amendments become effective immediately upon notice thereof, which SCCG may give by any means, including, but not limited to, by posting a revised version of this Privacy Policy or other notice on SCCG’s website.

It is the visitors’ responsibility to update themselves on any amendments to this Privacy Policy, to ensure that full consent is given at all times.  This Privacy Policy is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal right, or on behalf of any party other than The Supply Chain Consulting Group Limited.
